>> in the aftermath of the sandy hook elementary school shooting there is lots reflection with the shootings that have gone on. here in the bay area, the fbi says gun related crimes have increased in san francisco, oakland, and san jose are the past decade. in san francisco, the number of robberies involving a gun nearly double from 77 in 2000 to 129 in 2010. this figure is per 100,000 people. in oakland a number of gun related robberies more than doubled from 182413. meanwhile in san

jose the number of robberies rose from 15 to 22 during the same time period. >> in a recent poll conducted between friday and sunday 57 percent said the gun control should be made stricter up to 39% in april. three in 10 states should be kept the same, where in april 41 percent said it should be kept the same. while mimed percent said gun-control should be made less strict. many of those polled say they were not sure whether stricter gun control laws would have prevented friday shooting that killed 26 people. >> many say that the shooting at sandy hook is and not just an isolated act of one person, but rather broader problem in society. after the are more killings in july, just 24 percent of americans and a few research center poll said the shootings were reflected. bigger issues in the country. the number is more
